European Commission highlights SignalGeneriX Project

The European Commission in a press release with a title ‘Safer cruise ships thanks to EU-funded research’ that was published today recognised the Lynceus project as a good example of EU funding for tackling issues that make people’s lives better. The project is expected to significantly contribute towards increasing maritime safety by developing innovative technologies for safe evacuation of people during emergency.

European Research, Innovation and Science Commissioner Máire Geoghegan-Quinn said: “These projects are good examples of how we are tackling issues that can make people’s lives better – in this particular case even potentially saving lives. We will continue to invest in this type of research and innovation in our new Horizon 2020 programme.”
