SignalGeneriX at TEDx University of Nicosia

At “TEDx Uniersity of Nicosia 2014,” an international event where leading experts of diverse technology, entertainment, and design fields presented a broad range of creative ideas, the Head of SignalGeneriX Research & Development, Dr Antonis Kalis presented the Lynceus project and the life-saving technologies that were developed during this 3-year EU funded project.

Speaking of our company’s current research, Dr Kalis explained how SignalGeneriX and the Lynceus consortium invented a novel system for localizing passengers during emergency evacuation from large passenger ships. This innovative technology has been recently draw international attention when featured at the Futuris Euronews science documentary series and recognized with the prestigious Lloyds List Global Innovation Award.

SignalGeneriX is the technical and scientific coordinator of Lynceus which has recently won the Lloyds List Global Innovation Award and also.

The TEDx conference was held at Filoxenia Conference Center, in Nicosia, Cyprus, on the 15th of November.
