MARITEC-X: New H2020 Teaming Phase 1 project

SignalGeneriX announces the kick-off of a year 0.4 M€ HORIZON 2020 MARITEC-X teaming Phase 1 project which is dedicated to the creation of Marine and Maritime Research Innovation and Technology Centre of Excellence to act as an enabler of scientific and business excellence in – the crucial for our island – Marine and Maritime sectors, including the – rabidly emerging – Offshore sector; and will be aligned to the overall Smart Specialization Strategy for Cyprus (S3Cy) and the European priorities on specific pillars with competitive advantages to the Cypriot economy. The consortium of the project consists of the Municipality of Larnaka (Coordinator), Marine Institute of Ireland, Maritime Institute of Eastern Mediterranean – MAR.IN.E.M, SmartBay Ireland Limited, Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry, University of Southampton, GeoImaging, and SignalGeneriX Ltd.
