SignalGeneriX signs drone partnership with French Aerix Systems at innovation forum

Cypriot high-end electronics developer SignalGeneriX Ltd and French drone developer Aerix Systems have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to co-develop a next-generation, multi-purpose dual-use drone solution during the France–Cyprus Innovation and Cooperation Forum. The partnership combines SignalGeneriX’s advanced capabilities in digital signal processing, secure communications, and embedded artificial intelligence with Aerix Systems’ omnidirectional drone platforms and proprietary autopilot technology. The MoU establishes a self-funded framework for joint design, development, prototyping, and demonstration of innovative unmanned aerial systems with applications across both civil and defence domains.

A key focus of the cooperation is the development of a counter-UAS (C-UAS) drone, integrating SignalGeneriX’s edge AI and high-performance electronics with Aerix Systems’ aerial technologies. The resulting system will offer enhanced autonomy, rapid threat detection, and superior operational performance. This agreement strengthens Cyprus–France industrial cooperation and paves the way for future joint innovation in the unmanned systems sector.
