“COMMANDS General Assembly in Athens Marks Milestone in European Defense Project”

In a significant gathering of expertise, more than 50 professionals representing 10 European EU Member States convened in Athens, Greece, on 11 and 12 May for the COMMANDS General Assembly. This pivotal event, occurring six months after the project’s launch, served as a platform for comprehensive discussions on various aspects, including project Work Packages progress updates, contributions by Technology Demonstrators from project partners, dissemination and communication activities, and strategic planning for the project’s future steps.

INTRACOM DEFENSE S.A., a key participant in multiple Work Packages and the leader of WP6 COMMANDS normative framework, skillfully organized and hosted the event. Beyond its technical discussions, the General Assembly fostered networking opportunities, enabling the introduction of team members from complementary partner organizations and the cultivation of a shared vision for the project’s strategy and objectives. This assembly underscores the collaborative spirit driving the COMMANDS project towards its mission of enhancing European defense capabilities.
