SignalGeneriX Unveils Airborne Variant of RFHunter® on Drone Platform

At the DEFEA 2023 exhibition, SignalGeneriX presented a new variant of RFHunter® an airborne fitted with a quad-array antenna designed for high-frequency (HF) emission detection. In parallel with that ground-based solution (featuring the dome-shaped antenna for lower-frequency bands), the team has now progressed to an airborne variant: the RFHunter® system integrated onto an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).
This airborne configuration leverages altitude advantage to extend detection range and to provide broader situational awareness

Combining ground and airborne nodes creates a synergistic capability: the ground unit anchors continuous monitoring, while the drone-borne version provides elevated perspective and rapid triangulation of signal sources, delivering faster and more accurate geolocation of emitters.
