SignalGeneriX Wisense® at ISAF Youth Sailing World Championship

SignalGeneriX in collaboration with the Maritime Institute of Eastern Mediterranean and the Cyprus Sailing Federation deployed a Wisense® smart buoy during the ISAF Sailing World Championship in order to provide real-time environmental data to the event organisers, sailors and sailing teams straight from the sea. SignalGeneriX’s Smart Buoy and Wisense® remote monitoring platform was accessed from more than 3000 visitors from 70 countries during the event. SignalGeneriX offered to all ISAF Youth Sailing World Championship 2013 delegates real-time environmental data from the racing track. This novel system consists of a Smart Buoy and the Wisense® remote monitoring platform which provide you real-time data of wind speed, wind direction, wind gust, water and air temperature as well as humidity. The data is automatically updated every five minutes.
