SignalGeneriX received the EUREKA innovation label
SignalGeneriX participation in the QSTREAM Eureka Medea+ project enters the second year. The company is participating in a consortium of top European industrial and research organisations which were awarded the EUREKA label in recognition of the high degree of innovation and market potential.
Started in 1985, The EUREKA program is an intergovernmental initiative for technological cooperation that associates 33 European countries and the European Union. Its network encourages industry to engage in cooperative R&D to reach new markets. The Eureka logo is an internationally recognized symbol of quality and innovation.
The Qstream project addresses all major technical, scientific and technological challenges associated with the successful realization of low-cost, highly-integrated, ultra-high-data-rate streaming applications operating in the mm-wave frequency range. Complete receiver and transmitter ICs (RF and digital baseband) will be realized in CMOS technology, in addition to System-in-Package (SiP) implementations enabling mm-wave front-ends containing antenna arrays and active chips on a low-cost substrate. The validity of the chosen concepts will be demonstrated by two functional prototypes. SignalGeneriX is using its advanced DSP technology to build FPGA IP cores for various DSP processes for the communication processing.
