SignalGeneriX’s RFHUNTER® has been successfully integrated on MBDA’s BLOS-capable AKERON turret, installed on the Milrem Robotics Type-X Robotic Combat Vehicle (RCV), as part of the European Defence Fund MarsEUs project. This achievement showcases a major step forward in collaborative European land combat technologies.

In this configuration, RFHUNTER® operates alongside two quadruple AKERON-LP anti-tank missile launchers, providing advanced electromagnetic spectrum situational awareness. Its ability to detect and accurately locate radio-frequency emitters enables the Type-X to identify and engage threats before being detected, significantly enhancing survivability and mission effectiveness in contested environments.

The Type-X, introduced in 2021, is a highly modular unmanned combat vehicle designed for roles including combat, ISR, surveillance, and reconnaissance. It has also been tested within the LynkEUs long-range anti-tank programme, involving France, Belgium, and Cyprus.

The demonstration aligns with MarsEUS objectives to reinforce Europe’s ground combat capabilities by integrating modular, collaborative architectures and enabling Beyond-Line-of-Sight (BLOS) missile engagements.
