Secure Private Cellular Communication System (SECURICOM)
Project Overview
The SecuriCOM project introduced a very powerful yet simple to integrate voice encryption hardware add-on to mobile phones which provides mobile phone users with true privacy in their telephone conversations. The innovative lowcost solution is able to convert a mobile phone to a high tech encryption device using innovative DSP algorithms. The results of this project led to the European Patent EP 2178235 A1 ‘Encryption of Information Signals’ which is property of SignalGeneriX. The company’s IP in signal encryption is now incorporated in commercial products for secure PSTN, Fax and radio communication communications. Following this project the company introduced various security products in the domain of signal encryption.
