Chip-Enabled Adaptive Metasurfaces for ICT Systems

Project Overview:

CEAMS is centred on the design and production of high-quality mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs) which are instrumental in digitally managing the surface impedance of metasurfaces. The objective is to construct a programmable metasurface and evaluate it across various parameters such as the range of reflection tuning, the potential for scaling up, and the networking capabilities of the integrated circuits. The culmination of this project will be to communicate the technological progress to the industrial sector by providing a clear and thorough market analysis. Additionally, a well-defined roadmap will be charted out, detailing the journey from fundamental research to the stage of commercialization.
