Since its establishment, SignalGeneriX is actively participating in local (Cyprus) and European (EU) research calls with great success. The company has established collaborations and partnerships with major EU industrial and academic organisations in the field of DSP, electronics and communications and regularly participates in National and European research and development projects.
The Qstream project addresses all major technical, scientific and technological challenges associated with the successful realization of low-cost, highly-integrated, ultra-high-data-rate streaming applications operating in the mm-wave frequency range. Complete receiver and transmitter ICs (RF and digital baseband) will be realized in CMOS technology, in addition to System-in-Package (SiP) implementations enabling mm-wave front-ends containing antenna arrays and active chips on a low-cost substrate. The validity of the chosen concepts will be demonstrated by two functional prototypes. SignalGeneriX is using its advanced DSP technology to build FPGA IP cores for various DSP processes for the communication processing.
